File Types

Vector - Eps, Ai and Pdf
Raster - Psd, Tiff and Jpg

Artwork must be "To Size" in one of the file types accepted above.  If you don’t know what size you need please see our artwork Sizing Chart.  If file is not sent correctly the job will be placed on hold until artwork is properly sent or has been discussed with an artist or sales rep.

Color matching:

Colors will be matched to screen unles other wise specified by a Pantone Matching System (PMS)  There will be one hour allotted to matching your colors.  If more time is needed artwork charges my apply.

Examples

"High Res"
- The high resolution Raster Image (Psd, Tiff or Jpg) you see in Example 1 is very crisp when blown up "To Size" (45" x 45"), as seen in Example 2. When a file is not "High Res" you will notice in Example 3, when blowing it up to the size used on a t-shirt or Team shirt, the file becomes very distorted and unreadable. This is why we ask that when providing a file it be "To Size" with a 150 dpi resolution or higher.

Vector or Non-Vector - Vector images (Eps, Ai file types) are made up of points as seen in Exsample 4. These points can be moved and sized up or down and the graphic will never lose their sharpness. In Example 5, the Non-Vector image is made up of pixels instead of points. In most cases this pixelated graphic will have to be redrawn in a program such as Illustrator to achieve the sharpness of Example 1.

FAQ

"I only have a 72dpi image from the internet."
This image can be printed on the understanding the it may be distorted or pixilated due to low image quality. If you require the image to be sharp and precise the graphic will have to be touched up or redrawn.  Please ask your sales rep for info on artwork charges.

"What does To Size mean?"
“To size” means the full size of the print that we will be applying. Please see the Sizing Chart below for standard image sizes.

“I’m not sure what DPI my image is?”
This can be found in the Image roll down in Photoshop under Image Size.  If you do not have Photoshop or an imaging program please email your design to our art department or your sales rep and put in the subject line "What is my DPI?"
Hint - If you got it off the internet it is most likely 72dpi and to small.

"Can I overlap my graphics from the front to the sleeves?"
Yes this is possible but it is not guarantied that your graphics will match up 100% this also is a time consuming process as every size will have to be laid out individually. Artwork charges my apply.  Please ask your sales rep for info on artwork charges.
